There is an infinite number of cliches for instants; twinkling of an eye, split second, on the spot, in a flash. These exist for a good reason. Moments matter. Whether it is the first step, a first birthday, or first love, these unforgettable instants, strung together, build the narrative of one’s life. They are the touchstones for all the undocumented moments in between. Our everyday lives jumbled into a montage that exists beyond the boundaries of three dimensions. It is imbued with a past, present and future, simultaneously elusive and tangible, emotionally charged.

My photography celebrates the polarity of the instant and the infinite and the paradox of holding both synchronously. It strives to transcend the moment of the shutter closing using mediums ranging from the impermanent instant photo, unpredictable characteristics of film, or the infinite nature of the digital photograph.

I am grateful to the support and guidance from the photographic and artistic communities.
